Stocking Stuffers For the Foodies In Your Life
‘Tis the season for eating! Nah, just kidding, every season is the season for eating. But as the holidays quickly approach, we’re all on the hunt for gifts. And if you’re like me, you know a ton of foodies in your life. The good news? There are some tasty stocking stuffers you can…well, stuff in a stocking to impress your foodie friends and family. Let’s check ’em out!
Editor’s Note: I received samples of some of the below products to try, but the opinions are all my own. Grass Fed Coffee
The world’s first ready-to-drink butter coffee, you’re getting organic cold brew, grass fed butter, and coconut MCT oil in every bottle. If your foodie is into Keto or intermittent fasting, this is a must for their eating and drinking toolkit. You’re getting mental clarity and physical energy without having to brew anything yourself. I love it. Pick it up on the Grass Fed Coffee website, or you can also find it at places like Bristol Farms, Gelson’s, or on Amazon.
Price: $4.99 per bottle, $16.47 for a 3-pack case, $65.88 for a 12-pack case

Absolutely Gluten-Free Tahini Bars
Whether you’re shopping for someone that needs things to be gluten-free or not, this is a solid snack to add to the rotation. These bars are made from all-natural roasted sesame seeds. In case you missed the memo, sesame seeds help boost energy levels and are a good source of a laundry list of things, including vitamins, minerals, protein, fiber, calcium, iron, zinc and potassium. Each flavor is tasty, as well. Try Cocoa Nibs, Pistachio, or my personal favorite, good ol’ classic Vanilla.
Price: $3.99 – $4.49 per 7-bar package

Ayoba-Yo
The snack that’s as much fun to eat as it is to say. Ayoba-Yo is the product of the van Blommestein family (also a ton of fun to say) that started as a Saturday morning hobby. Now it’s got people yelling “Ayoba-Yo!” with every bite. Basically, it means you approve of something, and your foodie friend will most certainly approve. This recipe is more than 400 years in the making, consisting of simply just meat, vinegar, and spices. You won’t find sugar, artificial preservatives or ingredients, or nitrates. And they’re gluten- and soy-free for any folks who are allergic. You don’t need to know how to pronounce any of these varieties of stocking stuffers (Biltong, Droewors, and Boerewors, if you’re scoring at home), you just need to know they’re tasty. Pick ‘em up online or on Amazon, ThriveMarket, or Boxed.
Price: Starting at $2.99 per 2 oz. package

Prana Maple Almonds
I’ve gotten QUITE into almonds lately. If you don’t have a foodie on your list, I’ll gladly take these as stocking stuffers. Prana Maple Almonds are organic, vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO. They’re hand-made in Montreal, which has given us wonderful things like poutine, bareoke, and, of course, maple syrup. These almonds have said maple syrup along with a touch of sea salt and YES, they are the definition of “snack attack.” Eat ‘em on their own or toss ‘em in cupcake, brownie, or cookie recipes.
Price: Starting at $5.99 per 4 oz. bag

Local Hive Honey
You’re so sweet – give someone a gift to remind you of how sweet you are. Local Hive features…well, honey from local beehives. It’s a very spot-on name. You can get bottles from New England, Florida, Colorado, Southern California, and Texas (which is probably the best, since it’s where I live). They each have their own distinctive flavors and smells. Best of all? Raw, unfiltered honey is loaded with goodies, like antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and pollen. Now that truly is sweet.
Price: Starting at $5.99 per 12 oz. bottle

Munk Pack Cookies
I just learned via Shark Tank (thanks, A-Rod!) that Jennifer Lopez eats a cookie every night before bed. I want to be like that. But sometimes I’ll eat a handful of cookies and just feel sick to my stomach, knowing I’ve gone hog wild on the sugar and calories. But what if you could have a cookie that makes you feel full (in just one cookie!) with a ton of protein packed in, too? Duh, of course you’d want that. These stocking stuffers have 18 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, and are gluten-, soy-, and dairy-free.
Price: $14.99 for a pack of six cookies, $25.99 for a gift pack, including four cookies, a tote, and a mug
