Aviator Nation Austin and Tito’s Vodka Are Celebrating Record Store Day In Style

I always dig Record Store Day because…well, it’s awesome to support local businesses. And any chance I can discover new tunes, I’m all for it. That reminds me, I suppose I should drop a shameless plug for my band Burning Years right here.

To help celebrate Record Store Day, the good folks at Aviator Nation are hosting a bash at their Austin store on South Congress. They’ve teamed up with Tito’s Vodka to for some complimentary craft cocktails and baller limited-edition swag. You can be like this handsome gent below (note: not me, although I am similarly handsome).

But there’s something even cooler! All the net proceeds from the sale of the hoodie go directly to Musicians on Call. This is a fantastic organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients at health facilities. If you’ve been inside a health facility, you know it can be a downer sometimes. But when you have some jams playing? It really brightens the mood.
