This German-style beer garden is one of the best hangs in all of Austin. Tucked right at the end of 6th Street, Easy Tiger thrives on its wide variety of beers and fresh meats and bread. Pair ’em all together and you have a winner. Let’s check it out!
The Main Attraction Giant Pretzel with Beer Cheese
I don’t think I’ve ever visited Easy Tiger without ordering one of their large pretzels with beer cheese. It’s so good I haven’t even bothered to take a picture of it – it’s just immediately consumed. Next time, I promise. Rest assured, it’s an enormous, freshly baked pretzel with perhaps the best dipping sauce in the entire city. That’s a bold claim, but it truly is that good.
But the Turkey Boudin Blanc Homemade Sausage is Pretty Tasty, Too
If you want something beyond carbs, grab one of the homemade sausages. The Turkey Boudin Blanc is one of my favorites. I mean…Smoked Turkey, Scallion, Sage, and Thyme with Fennel & Apricot Slaw sounds pretty delicious, doesn’t it? I’ve never been disappointed by an Easy Tiger sausage, though, so go wild. And even though I just said this can help you avoid carbs, I’d suggest getting it on a pretzel bun because it’s just that perfect savory, salty combination.
Beer Me…A Lot
Of course, what would a beer garden be without a massive selection of beers? There are always at least 24 on tap (shout out to Blue Owl Spirit Animal!) with another dozen or so rotational craft beers. Even the pickiest of drinkers can find something they love here.
