Here’s How You Can Be the NBA’s Official Food Taster
As the great Kurtis Blow once said, “basketball is my favorite sport.” But eating is a close second. And thanks to Pickswise, we can combine BOTH of them into one cool thing: becoming an official NBA food taster.
I’m sorry, WHAT?! You’ll pay me $500, give me tickets to games, AND give me a stipend to buy food at every arena? Mmm, yes please, sign me up. This is Pickswise’s first season in the NBA, and they’re coming in with gusto. The NBA food taster doesn’t need any previous experience or qualifications. For basketball foodies, this is the perfect gig.
What will help is having a bit of practice with gameday cuisine, whether at home or on the court. The winner will be named Pickswise‘s Official NBA Taste Tester.
That means traveling to NBA arenas with your mouth watering and your belly rumbling. As the NBA’s food taster, you’ll sample hot dogs, pretzels, tacos, nachos, burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches.
You’ll also get to put your sports correspondent hat on. Posting across Pickswise’s social channels, you’ll give in-depth reports and offer your take on the hottest foods around the league. Which NBA team is tops with their culinary skills?
Become the League’s Official Food Taster
To enter, follow the steps on the Pickswise website. Entrants must be aged 21 or older and can only enter once. The competition runs from October 1 to October 7 at 5 pm EST. Pickswise will contact the winner by October 15, so you’ll have plenty of time to prep for your new gig.
Being a food taster sounds like a slam dunk to me. For a chance to become the official NBA Taste Tester visit the Pickswise competition page. And feel free to bring me along as your special guest when you visit San Antonio. You know, since I’m right nearby and all.
