12 Stocking Stuffer Ideas for the Foodies In Your Life

Can y’all believe the holiday season is already upon us? I’ve been dancing to “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and the slowed down version of the Chipmunks song, yet I still haven’t finished all my Christmas shopping! Are you in the same boat? NOT TO WORRY. I’ve got you covered with a barrage of stocking stuffer ideas for the foodies in your life.

Full disclosure: I did receive samples of some of these products to review. But I only share things I actually dig, so you’re not getting any fluff here. Just yum. Now onto the stocking stuffer ideas!

McCafe Frappe

McCafé RTD Frappés

Great for McDonald’s and/or coffee lovers, these small bottles pack quite the punch! Each 13.7 oz. bottle has 88 mg of caffeine, which means you’ll get a burst of energy from just a few sips. And with mocha, caramel, and vanilla flavors (the latter is my personal favorite), you’ll get just as many satisfied “mmm”s as you will hits of caffeine.

THINKNOO

THINKNOO Coffee

If your foodie prefers a more Keto-friendly approach to things, the folks at THINKNOO have got you covered. These packets may look like they contain hot chocolate, but don’t be fooled. The Fat Mocha and the CBD-infused Zen Keto options each provide a nice burst of Colombian coffee – and somehow, some way, they manage to pull it off without a crazy sugar crash in the afternoon.

Tavola: 10 Greatest Hits—Music and Food

People often ask me what my favorite type of cuisine is. Even though I am quite the inclusive eater, my default answer is always Italian. And I’m also a huge fan of music – like, I know everyone enjoys music, but can everyone appreciate something like this Beach Boys harmony that sounds like the gates of heaven opening? (I hope you can, because it sure is magical). In any case, that love of Italian and music is captured nicely by Michael Keaveny, owner and chef at Tavola, an eatery and wine bar in Charlottesville, VA. Inside, you’ll find recipes from the restaurant’s top dishes, as well as a curated playlist for said dishes. Great for any type of dinner party or simply for turning cooking into a more festive experience.

DRY Sparkling Soda

DRY Sparkling Soda

There’s a nifty little spot in Austin called Sans Bar, which serves no alcohol at all. “What?! Bonkers!” you may be saying to yourself. But you probably haven’t tried DRY sparkling soda yet, which has partnered with the bar since it opened. And this stuff is GOOD. I highly recommend the vanilla flavor but you can’t go wrong with any of them. The sleek-looking bottles and cans are a nice touch, too.

Negg Maker

The Negg Egg Peeler

If you’re anything like me, trying to peel a hardboiled egg is *cue Jean Ralphio voice* the wooooorst. Just shrapnel of shell getting everywhere, including stuck in your fingernails. Yeesh. Luckily, the Negg is here to help you peel. This is such a cool tool for your kitchen arsenal. You literally shake off the shell. Include this in your stocking stuffers and then you can all get stuffed on eggs. Win-win all around. Earlier this year I interviewed Negg creator Bonnie Tyler and learned you can now get fancy spices, too. EVEN BETTER.

Delysia Chocolatier

Delysia Chocolatier Box of Chocolates

Did you think I wouldn’t have something chocolate-y in here? Ha! Forrest Gump (or more accurately, his mama) may equate a box of chocolates to life. I equate it to someone that has good taste. And if you slip a box from Delysia Chocolatiers into someone’s stocking, they’ll feel the same way. They do have more classic flavors, though you can really stand out by getting something seasonal, like their Eggnog or Gingerbread varieties. And as they were named a Top 3 Chocolatier in the Americas, you know exactly what you’re gonna get: a quality treat.

Old Trapper

Old Trapper Beef Jerky

Look, if you’re offering me a steak, I’ll gladly take it. But sometimes a steak isn’t practical – for instance, when you’re developing stocking stuffers for a foodie (or anyone, really). Or maybe you know someone super active that needs nourishment on the go. Again, a steak isn’t going to cut it. But you know what will? Beef jerky. Old Trapper is one of the nation’s largest beef jerky brand and their quarter-pound bags are just the ticket to gnaw on some goodness. Unlike many other beef jerky bags I’ve encountered, this one is completely clear, so you see just how much jerky you’re getting. Transparency is cool, y’all!

T.W. Hollister Vermouth

T.W. Hollister American Vermouth

Of all the alcoholic beverages out there, vermouth is probably one of the ones I have the least experience with. If your foodie friend or family member is like me (or, you know, if they like vermouth all the time), you can give ‘em a taste of T.W. Hollister. Their vermouth comes in either red or dry, and both tingle the taste buds just right. As the company says, it’s like sipping a piece of California. Anytime I get the chance to drink a state, I’m all for it.

Stuffed Puffs

Stuffed Puffs S’Mores Kit

This is one of the niftiest things I’ve seen in a while. As a s’mores fanatic, I’m always looking at ways to up my game. This kit gives you graham crackers and marshmallows, and you might be thinking to yourself, “hey, self, where’s the chocolate?” Well, dear self, it’s IN the marshmallows. I KNOW. This one is tons of fun if you have any kiddos, but even if you’re just craving a s’more, it’ll get the job done. If you want to go even further, throw a Reese’s peanut butter cup in the mix and ENJOY.

Big Mouth Butter Dish

Big Mouth Inc. Weiner Dog Butter Dish

As the proud owner of a dachshund/chihuahua mix (a chiweenie, for those of us that like to giggle while saying our dog’s breed), I can’t imagine a cuter item. If you know a foodie that likes to hold their butter in style, you’ll need to get this. But if they’re strongly opposed to dachshunds – in which case, please stop being their friend – there are plenty of other options to check out, too. Surely you’ll find something that’s both practical and outrageous, and that’s the best combo.

Del Monte

Del Monte “The Better Break” Convenience Foods

Okay, this one will have to go in the fridge, unless you want to get some sort of dry ice situation going. But you can also just write a personalized note saying “hey, open up the refrigerator and find a nice present!” and include some of these wonderful snacks. They’re packed with vegetables, but there’s also sauce involved so it’s almost like you’re having a veggie stew, but not quite as hearty. I really haven’t seen a snack like it, so if you’re trying to be unique, this is a great way to do it. My personal favorite is the Summer Corn, though your foodie may prefer something like Spicy Pomodoro or Zesty Green Chile.

MyMo Mochi

My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream

Okay, here’s another one that requires a freezer, but it’s totally worth it. I recently discovered mochi and I’m mildly upset I had been missing out for so long. My/Mo is all about renovating the mochi world, too – beyond the traditional mochi flavors like vanilla and chocolate (which they also have), they’ve released fun fall and winter flavors, including Apple Pie a la Mode, Pumpkin Spice, and Cool Peppermint. They’re all tasty, and they’re all the perfect treat to munch on while sitting around a toasty fire. Or while you’re out in the cold, because let’s be real: ice cream is good no matter the temperature.
